Complete cable lay spread for fibre optic and power cables, in operation
until August 2026. The package combines a near-new Layback 250 t carousel
(2023, approx. 100 operating hours) with a proven Jotne 8 t wheel tensioner.
The two units are matched in speed and have been used together on power
cable projects in Norway.
Carousel: 250 t capacity, coil Ø5.0–10.0 m, electric VFD drive, max 0.85
rpm, fabricated to DNV-OS-C401, packs into two 20 ft open-top containers,
spares included.
Tensioner: 8 t pull, 0–30 m/min, 8 wheel pairs, cable from 21.5 mm,
HMI and radio control.
