  • Three-pile self-elevating mobile drilling platform 
  • Built in France in 1980 and imported from Singapore to China in 1997. 
  • Repaired and modified at Yantai Shipyard before entering service. 
  • Major equipment was upgraded in 2009, 2012, 2015, 2022, and again in July 2024. 
  • Currently idle at the CB12A well group of Chengdao Oilfield but is maintained and can return to drilling after restoration and outfitting. 
  • Overall length: 59.95 m. 
  • Overall width including lifeboats: 37.7 m. 
  • Molded breadth: 32.3 m, molded depth: 5.2 m. 
  • It has 3 pile legs, each 3 m in diameter and 70 m long. 
  • Maximum operating water depth: 30 m. 
  • Maximum wave height: 5.3 m for drilling operations and 6.3 m for self-storage condition. 
  • Maximum wind speed: 36 m/s for operations and 51.5 m/s for self-storage. 
  • Normal lifting load: 3,150 tons; normal support load: 4,500 tons. 
  • Includes a cabin/layout diagram showing key spaces such as ballast tanks, fuel tank, freshwater tank, mud pumps, mud sump, living spaces, power room, and emergency generator room. 
  • It also lists reserve volumes for drilling water, fresh water, diesel oil, lube oil, ash can, barite, mud sump, bagged product, and berth-related storage. 
  • The platform has a full set of certificates that can be restored and activated. 
  • Key certificates include nationality certificate, ownership certificate, security certificate, qualification certificate, load line certificate, oil pollution prevention certificate, wastewater pollution certificate, and air pollution certificate. 
  • Several certificates are valid through 2027 or 2028. 
  • Drilling winch: JC-50D, with 5,000 m drilling depth capacity and 1,100 kW input power. 
  • Mud pump: 3NB-1600F, rated power 1,193 kW and maximum pressure 35 MPa. 
  • Top drive: DQ70III-A, rated load capacity 4,500 kN. 
  • Crane: TC-450, maximum hook load 4,500 kN. 
  • Four diesel generators: CAT3512BSR4B, each rated at 1,200 kW.
